American Truck Simulator Map

Dalton and Elliot Hwy Extreme – is a Standalone Map on a 1:1 Scale and is NOT Compatible with any other map i.e. C2C or Mexuscan so please do not ask. Experience has been increased to reflect the map size compared to the base game. Pay has not. This map is not for the faint of heart it will take you 20 minutes to get to Fox from Fairbanks and 3 1/2 hours to get to Yukon River Camp. It takes about 2 hours or so just to get to the Dalton Highway from Fairbanks alone. There are hills and corners that will make your jaw drop or wake you up. This map has been mapped with Google Earth and elevations for every node added to their correct heights for their respective locations via Google Maps Find Altitude.

Sorry for this but its the only way to post my new map.
This is the 1st version of my winter map.
I am very thankful to the creators of the Alaska map that introduced slippery and snow-covered roads mixed with
regular roads in the same map! WOW! All of the ATS “FANATICS” on the discussion boards said, “IT CAN’T BE DONE”.
Yes, it can and I, being the ingenious person I am, have found how to use that discovery about the game to build an even more challenging map using the Alaska Map included with this download.
This is the beginning of a whole new game.
I have created this map based on the work of all the people that have been building maps
since this game came about.
Thanks to all of you and ALL YOUR HARD WORK.
Anyway, this is the 1st version, more is ready, but I am trying to drive as much of it as I can, to make sure, as best I can, to not have any major problems.

I put Sierra Nevada in cause it’s a pet project of mine. I fixed up Fallon a bit. working on other towns.
Use it or don’t, It’s not necessary for the Ice Roads. {YET}.

The map has new ice roads, frozen ice lake crossings and mountain uphill grades so steep
that spinouts can and do happen. All grades are drivable, you just have to know when and when NOT to shift gears.
That goes for up-shifting as well as down-shifting. Miss a gear and you will stall-out and or spin-out.
I recommend Practice with an empty trailer to get the hang of it.

The ice lake crossings have a danger to them as well. Stay between the delineators. The ice is strong there.
Go outside the delineators and the ice can get very thin and dangerous. You can fall through, but you don’t know where. The ice lake at Stewart Crossing is actually a whopping 14 ‘REAL, NOT SCALED’ miles across with blowing snow.
Hope it’s not snowing when you go across. White outs are possible in here too!
Icy Roads are slick. You can slide off the road if cornering to fast!
Snow replaces rain and when icy roads are wet, they are even more slippery!

I rebuilt all connections between Montana and Canada.
The new ice roads now start at Whitehorse and at Yellow Knife.
New road going to Stewart Crossing, Yukon and on back around south to Tok Alaska.
2 Diamond mines to pick-up and deliver to.

Alot has changed in this version and it was aot of work, hence the delay since the game update to 1.46.

The whole area around where Carlile in Fairbanks is located has been redone completely.
Added in Carlile’s Fuel/Chemical Depot.
Added in Carlile’s Truck Shop.
Moved Plaster and Sons, Mack, Freightliner to more suitable locations due to the revamp.
Changed the roads and speed limits for them to be inline with the real world.
Added in the roundabout at Danby St and Wembley Ave. (This was challenging)
Changed the intersection at Danby St and Johansen Expwy.
Changed the intersection halfway between Farmers Loop and Goldminers.
Reworked the Steese along that way.
Added in a new company with new jobs, Air Land Transport. Its is located across fom the Carlile Truck Shop.
Fixed a reported sign issue just north of the Wiseman turnoff.
Added purchasable Carlile Fuel Tanker Skin.
Added in K&W as parked tankers to Carlile Fuel and Chemical Division.
Please note other companies might show up as well at this stage I havent had time to redo all the different size tankers as parked vehicles.
Blocked off certain areas currently being worked on and those that have nothing past them. Added invisible walls as well.
Added in some fast food trailers one at the parking area past Hilltop and the other at Hotspot Cafe. Also added people in these locations.

Anything else I have changed or added I cannot remember.

The Winter Map will come in due course as I have yet to import the new map to it and the def changes, new parked vehicles etc, as well as changing the materials to Winter
that are burned into the map.

Reminder : Winter and Summer Map Profiles are compatible with each map.

Please report anything out of the ordinary here as usual.
Any crashing issues etc please dont forget to include your full game.log.txt as it is needed so myself or others can help you.

Load order has not changed it will always remain the same.

DO NOT use the Company Browser you will lock up your game or CTD.
