ETS2 sounds mods

Usually, you don’t pay that much attention to the sounds too much. They’re new and exciting the first time you hear them but after a while, they kind of fade into the background and concede the 1st place to visual clues and visual fidelity. However, this is the role sound should be playing. It’s the job of the sound effects to make the game more immersive and engage, replicate (simulate) the real-world experience of truck driving. Even though there are many great things with the ETS2 game, sound effects are not its top quality. All engines sound similar and mechanical sound effects of the trucks are similar, if not identical, even if the trucks are of different makes and models.
By downloading sounds mods for Euro Truck Simulator 2, you can make the truck engines sound more realistic and less linear like it is now. There are also open pipe sound mods which truly make your truck’s diesel engine (V8, preferably) open up. Other sound mods include the aforementioned mechanical clicks, whooshes, clunks, whines and a bunch of other sounds that truck drivers hear in real life.

MERCEDES ACTROS OM471 – 473 ENGINE SOUND V2.1

Time for the 2.1 version of my Mercedes OM471 engine sound, plus a big bonus, i have rebuild the new SCS recordings of their DD15 engine sound (OM473).
So now you will get two differents sounds for the Actros.
My OM471 has been improved a little bit and i have also added the interior original accessories and the air brakes, with of course the ugly air gear sound of the Actros
They both sound very realistic. )
Of course this works only in 1.39+ version of the game.

VOLVO FH13-16 2012 STOCK SOUND V3.1 1.39

Changelog v3.1
-Updated the sound mod to 1.39 patch.
-Added all accessories sounds, and air gear, air brakes sounds.
-Made few improvements where it was possible.

This sound mod is based on the previous version, it uses my own recordings.
Recorded each range of 100rpm’s precision in .wav stereo format 24 bits 96khz. I of course in this version of the mod use my raw files. The quality is better. I’ve recorded the fan sound as well these last days.
This sound mod works with the SCS and Eugene Volvo.
I’ve made two variants : one with the fan sound and a second one without the fan. Choose the one you prefer, the fan will be audible when you start the truck (like in real life), and it will also be audible later when you drive.

Make no mistake thats old but gold the is so good I promise like it. 😉

this sound totally reworked for 1.39 version.

D13K Volvo engine sound is finished.
This sound mod is based on the previous version, it uses my own recordings.
