Tow Plane: Robin DR400 CVVL This livery is inspired by the Robin DR400-180R, tail number F-GTJS, belonging to the CVVL (Centre de Vol à Voile Lyonnais). (It’s my first repaint! So Please leave a comment. Give me suggestions and point out bugs.)

This is my very first attempt at modifying a stock airport ,which had generic textures, with something more customized. I used the MFS SDK of course, and all stock objects with the SDK . “1c5″ , Clow Airport, is in Bolingbrook, Illinois, which is a western suburb of Chicago. It also houses a small restaurant called ‘Charlie’s with an outdoor patio , and an ‘Illinois Aviation Museum” and a flight school. Just next to this small airport’s parking lot is a small mini-golf course, which i recreated also . This airport is surrounded by industrial warehouses and some commercial lots such as Lowe’s and Home Depot. I work about 5 mins from here and reside in Chicago, so I really wanted to lovingly recreate this airport as it really is. Since this is my 1st attempt, some things ( like the hangar types and roofs) are not exactly like in real life, but i tried to use the stock hangars in the MFS SDK to get as close to real as possible. I also really wanted this airport to feel like it is a living, breathing airport, from people and pilots walking around, to small aircraft parked, to the surrounding area seeming more lifelike, with 3d cars and trucks in the parking lots ( these will be visible when you practice trafic patterns from the single Runway 18/36. I also recreated a water tower which is right next to this airport, and is a VFR reference. Hope you enjoy ! To install, just drop the folder into your ‘Community’ folder, and thats it! Next on my list are trying to customize other Chicago area airports ( KMDW Midway airport is next on my list), and others such as KDPA ( Dupage airport), KLOT ( Lewis Unviersity airport), Schaumburg Regional, etc.

Hello this is an extention of the 8K liveries mega pack but since I ran out of storage space I am uploading it via the different regions the airlines included operate.

Instalation:
To install you have to drag the contents of the “oceana liveries pack” into your community folder.
Community folder locations:
For the Windows Store install: C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\ Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\
For the Steam install: C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Packages\ Microsoft.FlightDashboard_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\
Important: Windows 10 by default hides the “AppData” folder, so you will have to go to “View” in the menu of File Explorer, and select “Hidden items” so as to see it.
For the Custom install: If you happened to use a custom location for your Flight Simulator installation, then proceed there. In my case it was: E:\Drive\Community

The 8K liveries Group

ESGU Uddevalla is a small airfield close to the west coast in Sweden. It has a grass runway that splits Uddevalla golf course in two parts. Unfortunately you won´t find any golfers on the course as the grass is to long. I have modeled all the buildings based on photos from the web, includigt the golf clubhouse and their equipment garage. There are to many streetlights over the area at the moment since roads are crossing. Hopefully we will be able to edit this in the future. The airport is a close low level flight along the coast from my other airports, Backamo and Kattleberg. Enjoy it.
