Western Star 4900FA Patch – high quality truck improved and fixed by author yukonjack_ak for ATS fan players. The Western Star 4900FA truck is a long-haul tractor designed for the transportation of bulky goods in various industries. The car has been produced since 2007. Most of the trucks are shipped to the USA and Australia. The Western Star 4900FA truck is a solid modification for the American Truck Simulator game. The car has good detailing and an original interior in two versions. Three cabins at 68 and 82 inches are available from the configuration setting, several 6×4 and 8×4 chassis, a large variety of Cummins and Detorit engines with a return of 350-605 horses, aggregated by an Eaton gearbox at 6-18 speeds. There is also support for external tuning and a set of steering wheels DLC Steering Creations Pack.

INTERIOR FIXES:
The original truck model only contained a single interior based on a 68″ High Roof Cab. I’m working on remodeling it (updating textures, adding animations, etc) as well as creating entirely new interiors for the Flat-top and the 82″ High Roof. This is proving to be a massive project for my 2 month old Blender skills and not knowing if I will ever finish that and in an effort to get this patch out sooner rather than later, I’ve adapted a “place-holder” interior.

I’ve “kitbashed” together various pieces and parts to create a realistic interior view of a Western Star cabin. Thanks to Kishadowalker, I was able to use the interior and animations from an old version of his Western Star 4800SB for the base and rebuild it using textures and components from the original 4900FA interior so I could to get the look/feel right.

This does mean there is only ONE interior cabin model (2 different color variations though) even though there are 3 different external cabin models. To keep the illusion of multiple cabin interiors, I kept the original external views that were created by Sib3rius for the interior so when you look at your 4900FA from the outside, it will have the normal cabin that coincides with the chosen sleeper configuration. However, the interior view will reflect that of a 54″ Mid Roof cab regardless of the exterior cabin selection. Honestly, after many hours of play-testing, I don’t notice it at all.

Bellingham heights Improvements – first work from the author which adds some improvements to the Bellingham.

Features mod Bellingham Heights Improvements:

– A little bit improved unhidden road from Bellingham to Deepgrove company (some road signs were added or improved)
– Road signs edited near Everett, WA (“Darwing” writings on road navigation signs changed to “Boeing” ones)
– The roads between Bellingham and Deepgrove company, also roads near Astoria, Coos Bay, detour rough road on OR58 are made visible on the map.
– Parking spot near a house in Redmond, OR (this town are not visible on map, it located to north from Bend, OR. I made it just for myself use for playing roleplay situation of living there).
