MSFS 2020 cockpits mods
If you’re a very immersive and experienced player of flight-sim games, you probably have an entire rig with the yoke and other gadgets. However, even if you don’t and play the game during your spare time, it can be fun to download cockpit mods and just see how much they improve upon the current cockpits. Sometimes the modders do a better job than the actual developers. More realistic cockipits result in more immersive gameplay and much more exciting missions when you can see and feel the same way that a real-world pilot would.
The best thing about MSFS 2020 cockpit mods is that they’re all free on Gamersmods and you can download them to see how each and every one of them looks and to find the best particular modification for your style of play. There are massive cockpit overhauls or slight changes of cockpit liveries.
Check out the rest of the mods on Gamersmods. Aside from downloading a cockpit mod, you can improve your gameplay with scenery, livery, airport or aircraft modifications. Take your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 experience to a whole another level by downloading mods!
– changed color of trimwheel scale background to black
This is a cockpit color variation mod for the a320 neo vanilla and FlyByWire mod. For now also works with a321 from AMP.
Colors: Black (Main) Beige (Seats) Beige (Secondary)
Important notes for Installation:
For use with vanilla a320 or a321 mod by AMP:
Copy only the “zzzz jd cpm ????? – 00 main” folder from the zip to your community folder!
For use with FlyByWire Mod:
Copy additonally the “zzzz jd cpm ???? – 01 FBW” folder from the zip to your community folder.
It includes the flap placard & clock texture changes from the FlyByWire Mod (v0.5.1), so credits for that to them.
To avoid problems please don´t rename the folders. Loading order is important here.
Daher TBM 930 Cockpit LiveryColor: Black Carbon
Unzip the Folder “TBM930 Carbon Cockpit”, copy two files in the “TBM930 Carbon” folder and replace original files in the official folder (…MSFS\Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-tbm930\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_TBM930\TEXTURE).
Copilot stays visible in C152 cockpit with one big caveat. I was unable to add copilot to LOD0 model so instead i used LOD1 cockpit that has lower poly count and ugly triangulation.
Primarily intended as a preview of ‘what would a visible copilot add to MSFS VR experience’.
Hopefully someone with more know-how picks this up and does it properly.
While at it i added optional 2K texture replacer for Asian female head.

9 different exterior colour combinations.
4 custom interior colours across 8 aircraft and 1 aircraft using the MSFS default interior colour.
Either white, red/white or prop colour tips.
Custom prop blur textures for all 3 prop types to match the prop tip colour.
More realistic prop blur with reduced strobing compared to the MSFS standard aircraft.
Compatible with the MSFS standard edition DA40 NG and the DA40 NGX Project which I recommend.
All textures used were developed from the default MSFS DA40 NG or other default aircraft in the standard edition of MSFS.
Just copy the folders in this zipfile to your MSFS “Community” folder.
With the engine off the props correctly model the prop tip colour being only visible on the front of the blade, but this was not possible for the props while in motion. You either have the choice of no prop tip colour on the moving blades at all, or prop tip colour visible from both the cockpit and outside views. I liked the effect of the prop tip colour on the moving blades, so the prop blur on all aircraft match their prop tip colours. The “Readme.txt” in the upload has instructions on how to have no prop tip colour texture for moving prop.
Although available in the aircraft.cfg file, registration numbers with coloured or different fonts are not currently implemented by MSFS, requiring customised rego font/colours to be in the texture files. Applying the rego no using the texture files means that changes to the aircraft rego no in the aircraft.cfg would not be reflected on the aircraft itself. As a result I have left the rego numbers as default MSFS black on all aircraft so you may change them as you require.
While these are fictitious repaints of the DA40, real Diamond aircraft were used for the colour inspiration of most of the repaints. Where I have based the colours used on a real aircraft, I used the registration of that aircraft. Any aircraft with rego VH-BLH are not based on real aircraft colours.
My first aircraft repaints for MSFS so all repaints use the standard Diamond “Ribbons Livery” style developed by Asobo.
EULAThese repaints are provided free of change and are not to be repurposed for inclusion with any commercial package or uploaded to another site. The use of the downloaded repaints is done at your own discretion and risk and with agreement that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from such activities.
This is a mod to convert your default tan interior into a luxurious black leather interior! Almost all interior files where manipulated for the most immersion! Just unzip to Community folder. This mod will also convert the amazing Bonanza Turbo mod by Robert Young into a black theme! Infact it will change ALL your Bonanza livieries into a black interior…..WITH the exception of those livery creators who have manipulated or include stock interior files into their livery! If this is the case, you will have to manually move the reoccuring interior files from the Beechcraft Bonanza G36 BlackInterior texutre folder to the texture folder of your downloaded livery! Warning…ONLY DO THIS FOR REPEATING FILES AND DO NOT MOVE THE ENTIRE CONTENTS TO YOUR CUSTOM LIVERY…REPEAT…ONLY THE FILES THAT ARE THE SAME IN YOUR CUSTOM LIVERY TEXTURE FOLDER! Sorry about the CAPS!
