My second project to better model Downtown Chicago involves Lakeshore East and portions of the East Chicago River areas. This mod adds improved details and updated information.

Features include:

– Aon Center (fully detailed with roof features)
– Prudential Plaza (including the mast on One Prudential Plaza)
– An under-construction Vista Tower… aka St. Regis Chicago (I was not able to obtain a completed model of it at this time, but I can try in the future to add this)
– Wrigley Building and Tribune Tower
– Lakeshore East Development update
– Improved mods for Millennium Park
– Aqua Chicago
– Chicago’s Second Tallest Building along the riverfront

Items I am aware that need improvement, and I hope to try in future versions:

– Ground Imagery of Maggie Daley Park
– I attempted to replace the imagery with updated data, but this caused the waterfront to be overridden and removed the “water effect”. – A few of the buildings appear very bright. I did import the data with the brightness reduced to try to match the models in the game. A few did not take despite several tries.
– A couple of buildings have “split models” but this only affected a few small ones and didn’t appear very noticeable.
– I will retry when I can obtain a completed Vista Tower model.

I welcome feedback on any of this project. The model was taken using the Google Maps imagery… Full credit and copyrights to the creators of those models, and this is purely meant as a project of love of Chicago with no profits to be gained from this.

PAAT-US Coast Guard Station Attu, Aleutian Islands v1.0

PAAT-Casco Cove US Coast Guard Station Attu Island

Attu is a isolated and remote place 2.383 km. west of Anchorage. The servicemen on the station called it “The Last Place on Earth”. During WW2 the station was a top seceret LORAN station, but with the new GPS era, its lost it importance after 66 years of service, and in August 2010 the last Coast Guardman left the island, and left it completely uninhabited.

Flying to and from the island is hazardous due to the extreme and unpredictable weather in the region, but the runway are maintained for EMM landings. If you see lights at night at the old station, it will be scientist or servicemen on expedition to Attu. I have placed a fuelspot on the apron for your convenience. Check out my other sceneries in the region.

The scenery is created with MSFS SDK and stock objects only. just unzip and put the paat folder into your MSFS community folder.
The airport will be updated according to SDK improvements.

The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium (in Italian, Stadio Diego Armando Maradona), is a multipurpose stadium, but mainly dedicated to the practice of football, located in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood, in the city of Naples, capital of Campania in Italy. It is the main sports facility in the city, equipped with multipurpose gyms and martial arts, an athletics track and a basketball field. It serves as the regular headquarters of the SSC Napoli. It has a capacity of 55,000 spectators1, making it the fourth stadium in capacity in Italy, after the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, the Olympic Stadium in Rome and the San Nicola Stadium. Following the death of Argentine soccer player Diego Armando Maradona, who was instrumental in helping SSC Napoli win Serie A in 1987 and 1990, the Mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris, proposed renaming the San Paolo stadium to Diego Armando Maradona in honor to the Argentine.

Track your flight in real time on an online map FsBlackBox is a small app that connect to Flight Simulator via simconnect and which send telemetry data to a central server to display an online multi-users map. (you know flightradar ? it’s the same idea but for Flight Simulator). Maps are accessible by a public URL so you can open it on any device (PC, smartphone, tablet…). You can also share it with your friends, community, viewers (if you are a streamer),… Last but not least, you can define groups and fly with your friends on the same map.

Installation
Download FsBlackBox installer. Run the installer.

Configuration
The installer will set a config.ini file in your “…/Documents/fsblackbox/” folder. Edit this file to set your username (what you want). You can also set a specific group, note thas all users with the same group will be displayed on the same map.

In this scenery I have added some GA parking spots and static planes, static elements, hangars, fence and night lighting.
To my knowledge, this airport doesn’t have runway lights.
There are no custom buildings in this scenery, I only used buildings curently available in the SDK.
