ETS2 sounds mods

Usually, you don’t pay that much attention to the sounds too much. They’re new and exciting the first time you hear them but after a while, they kind of fade into the background and concede the 1st place to visual clues and visual fidelity. However, this is the role sound should be playing. It’s the job of the sound effects to make the game more immersive and engage, replicate (simulate) the real-world experience of truck driving. Even though there are many great things with the ETS2 game, sound effects are not its top quality. All engines sound similar and mechanical sound effects of the trucks are similar, if not identical, even if the trucks are of different makes and models.
By downloading sounds mods for Euro Truck Simulator 2, you can make the truck engines sound more realistic and less linear like it is now. There are also open pipe sound mods which truly make your truck’s diesel engine (V8, preferably) open up. Other sound mods include the aforementioned mechanical clicks, whooshes, clunks, whines and a bunch of other sounds that truck drivers hear in real life.
On the other hand, you have fun sound mods that can change the GPS voice or turn the truck horn into a funny melody. So, whether you’re aiming for realism or fun, you will definitely find mods that will help you fulfil that goal, here.

SCANIA STRAIGHT PIPE BRUTAL OPEN PIPE V8 SOUND 1.40

A Scania V8 open engine with lope idle and a normal idle. Its loud and probably failed all emissions tests.
Adjust your sound sliders to suit your preferences. my settings is displayed above.

you get 5 engines
520hp, 580hp, 650hp, 730hp, and a 730hp chipped.
torque curves and engine specs taken from Scania brochures available online

MERCEDES ACTROS MP2/MP3 V6 SOUND 1.40

Mercedes Actros MP2/MP3 V6 sound mod for ETS2! It works on versions 1.39 and 1.40 of ETS2 and features realistic engine, interior, air-gear, air-brake and more sounds, which are all recorded in reallife. The most sounds I used are from myself, but some engine load sounds are from a MB Axor truck mod for ETS2, which included sounds by EVR. They are free and unlocked, so I used them in this mod too, because you only hear them very lightly and only when the engine has 20-30% load. I´ve tried to recreate the original Actros V6 sound as good as possible, and I think it sounds pretty good and represents the real Actros. There may come some more updates in the future, depending on how you like the sound and giving me suggestions 😉

DAF XF E6 PACCAR MX13 ENGINE SOUND MOD 1.40

I’ve converted my MX13 engine sound with Fmod, using .wav sound files for better quality.
This sound mod includes all the accessories sounds and air gear/brakes sounds.
i’ve also made a retarder sound.
It works with the SCS E6 Daf, and the Schumi.

DAF XF 105 OPEN PIPE SOUND 1.39 – 1.40

Once again I managed to save one great sound mod and adapt it to 1.39. This time it is open pipe sound for xf 105.
Recomended settings: Truck engine volume on MAX and Truck exhaust volume on MAX !!!!

DAF XF 105 PACCAR MX13 SOUND 1.39 – 1.40

Hello!
I present you another sound mod. This time it is daf 105 time ! There is a lack of good sound mods for this truck so I decided to resurrect one old but great sound.
For now it uses original SCS switches sounds until I find something good.
